I hate my kidneys

They don?t treat me right. They?re always getting infected, stupid STUPID KIDNEYS.

This leaves Ian having to deal with me having to interrupt our conversations to pee every 5 minutes, not fun. Plus, you can imagine I?m not in the best of moods when I can actually feel my kidneys.

In Philosophy 1, we talked about awareness of the body, and how a pin prick in a finger would create a feeling of pain which replicated the shape of the pin point ? essentially, you feel as though your nervous system creates a sensation which generates a shape idea in your head. If this is true, then I felt the shape of my kidneys this week. You?re not meant to feel your organs, and for good reason ? it?s freaking weird.

Going to a movie this week, and needing to pee halfway through, then putting it off until you don?t need to anymore ?cos the movie?s funny ? this probably didn?t help things. I'm also annoyed now because the first time, I'd had a one-off infection, and now it's a recurrance. Sucks.

My urinary tract aside (far, far aside, as I?m sure you?d prefer it), there?s a bit to look forward to thesedays ? going to see 300 tonight, and I have tickets to the Shins in my grubby paws for Thursday. Noo Yawk looms too; I have officially beaten the holiday blues by keeping my mind on kidneys and exciting upcoming events! Um, bonus?
