New York was fabulous, as expected. Pics here. Again, as bloody usual, Ian's infinitely better pics here.
I'm getting kind of sick of Ian being better at this photography shizz than I am. I used to pride myself quietly on my ability to frame a shot, to see an opportunity for something eye-catching, now I feel lucky to get something that's not too grainy. Ian, however, snaps away merrily and turns out something unique. Apart from his pictures of me, which are, obviously, always breathtaking.
Things are quiet at the moment, winding down after an exciting few months. I've just started on a new project at work, and while it's been a little sad (yes, really!) to say goodbye to the two magazines I effectively cut my teeth on, it's onwards and upwards I guess.
What's left for the rest of the year? Add the word hopefully after the end of each entry here: mortgage, house, trip to visit Charlene in Schweinfurt, and maybe the ability to afford a snazzy digital SLR thrown in. No holidays booked, no definite plans, but blueprints for a pretty notable 8 months.

I like your ones better. A lot of Ian's ones are a bit too much like something out of a magazine for me (no offence dude, they're still good), but your ones look like they were taken by, y'know, me. They're snaps.
But I'm getting a new SLR on Saturday, so that may change. :-)
sweet man! trip to schweinfurt!
Thanks Matt - I get what you mean, but personally I absolutely prefer his!
An SLR gives much more depth of field, better colour, and frees you up to experiment more - be sure to post when you get your camera, I look forward to drooling!
Brooke, I know right! Maybe I'll get to meet you and the enigmatic Booger.
Wahey! You a comin' this away? Hope to see you soon, like August or summin?!
